Future needs origins

That's why we always look to the past when we take a step forward. Each generation brings its own ideas - but also benefits from the experiences of their ancestors. That's why we are constantly in contact with each other between the generations. For us, however, winemaking is not just a craft, but also a bit of art. Our wines taste of Rheingau, of our terroir - but it is only through craftsmanship and our inspiration that they become what they are.

We treat our vineyards in an environmentally friendly way. We do this so that the generations after us can also benefit from them - and of course because we want to produce high-quality wines. We tailor the development of the wines precisely to the grape variety. Our Rieslings, for example, mature in stainless steel tanks and sometimes in used barrels.

We let the aromatic wines of Sauvignon Blanc and Goldmuskateller as well as our rosés and Blanc de Noirs mature exclusively in stainless steel to preserve their freshness and fruity aromas. Our Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc are partly matured in tonneaus, so that they have a fruity and slightly creamy taste.

We believe that red wine belongs in wood - the longer the better. That's why our Pinot Noirs mature in oak barrels of different ages and in several sizes (barrique, barrel, tonneau) to achieve perfect harmony.
